Olympic Cycling Rules
The road cycling in Tokyo 2020 Games format comes with 2 main events: road race and time trial.
In the road races, all riders will have to participate in the competition. The men racers will race over 234 km with 4865 elevation. Meanwhile, the women’s racers will run 137 km in total with roughly half of the elevation.
On the other side, we are also going to witness the individual time trials. In this case, the organizers will focus on the solo races against the clock competition. The athletes will start at predefined intervals.
